I believe… in Humboldt County Pinot Noir. My second vintage from the 3-acre dry-farmed vines of Mykal Coelho, on the road to the Lost Coast. 2023 was a wet year with snowfall in February, some heat in August, and the fruit was eventually hand picked September 22nd. The grapes were destemmed into a 3 ton concrete fermentation tank, then wild yeast fermented with no additions, before being gravity drained into four older French oak barrels. Blood orange, raspberry, leather, damp earth, and sour cherry on the finish. Chillable too. Take a walk on the wild side with this one. 90 cases made, alcohol 12%, unfined, unfiltered.
